  • Due to all the technology inside the drone needed to keep it safely flying, if the weather is wet or really windy I’m not able to fly.

    Some of the worst weather for drones is high winds, rain, and snow. We don’t get much snow here in the PNW, but we do get our share of rain. Even light rain can make it hazardous and unsafe to fly.

    Safety is supremely important to the Aerial Photography business and making sure we’re trained and insured allows all to keep providing this service to you.

  • According to the FAA I’m allowed to fly up to 400ft (which is still really high!)

    In some places there is additional restrictions on the airspace that limit how high I can fly or sometimes stop me from flying at all.

    If the house is located near an airport or military base than there are extra restrictions on flying. Depending on the location I can request an exemption to fly in those locations. The more advanced time given the better.
